Pool Inspections Professional Pool InspectionsWe service Austin and surrounding areas. Our inspection fee is $150. If you would like a "Pool School" at the time of the inspection we only charge $50 more. Make sure your pool is safe for your family and in good running order. Pool inspections can find minor issues before they become a major or catastrophic problems. This could save you thousands of dollars. Trained pool and spa professionals will evaluate your water quality, safety equipment, the physical conditions of facilities, and the condition of your current pool equipment. Leak Detection Leak Detection

Your pool will naturally lose some water to evaporation, some to splash out and some to backwash waste-water. You may also gain water from rainfall. Our rule of thumb is that if you’re routinely adding more than two inches of water to your pool per week, you may have a leak.

We will come out and do the initial inspection. We check to see if there are any obvious items that are contributing or causing the leak. We also check to see if we need any special equipment for the leak detection process. Once we complete the first inspection, we will give you a price on the leak detection

We specialize in pool plumbing, spas, fountains and water features. Not only do we have the ability to find the problem, but fix it also.

If you think you have a leak in your plumbing or the shell of the pool, please give us a call 512-244-7946. We have multiple ways to test and verify that a leak is present in the pool. Once we have determined that a leak does exist we can use our leak detection tools to pinpoint the leak and provide a quote to make the repairs. We can test any type of inground pool and any size inground pool.

Warranty Service Center Warranty Service CenterOur experience, training and expertise allow us to be a warranty service center for major product manufacturers as well as Home Warranty Companies. As a Warranty Center, one call to us may be all that is needed to solve your equipment problems. If a pump, filter or heater is still under manufacturer’s warranty, we deal with the manufacturer directly, on your behalf, to get a problem corrected. Most parts or whole products are covered under warranty for one or more years. We do the repair and bill the manufacturer with little or no cost or paperwork for you. Home Warranty policy holders can request Commercial Swim by name to see if we service your coverage area.

The CHEMTROL® 250 is a digital controller designed to maintain both sanitizer ORP (oxidation-reduction potential or Redox) and water pH in high-end residential pools, small commercial pools and spas. It is designed for affordability and ease of use. This controller is meant for small commercial settings were lifeguards and part time maintenance normally care for the pool. The limited access to settings prevents major problems due to inexperienced or unauthorized users.

The CHEMTROL® PC3000 controller is a fully programmable controller that features automatic control of water chemistry, water balance, water saturation and heater, all with full remote duplex capability. The CHEMTROL® PC3000 controller operates like a computer with full-screen displays and direct access to all menus and submenus. All operating functions can be easily modified from the keypad, including sensor calibration, control set points, alarm levels and the programs for super chlorination, sequential backwashing, chemical and energy savings. This controller is mainly for large aquatic facilities and commercial settings with aquatic directors and full time pool maintenance staff.

Which is better, UV or Ozone? Both are highly effective for disinfection, however, ozone requires considerably more knowledge and maintenance to operate and maintain it. It also takes up considerably more space than a UV system. With UV systems, you just turn on the lamp and let it run.Can I use UV with salt water pools? In a salt water environment certain installation practices are required, however; UV will work effectively in a salt water pool.Is there data to support what UV does? Many studies have shown and the USEPA recognizes that UV is highly effective for disinfection and chloramines reduction. Please contact us for details.What do Health Departments require?State health departments view UV and properly so, as a supplemental treatment system for both disinfection and chloramines reduction.Is there a cost savings using UV?The answer lies in investigating what the owner/operator is presently keeping chlorine levels at. If they are operating at close to break point chlorination, they can realize a savings because they will be able to reduce consumption by operating safely at or near minimum code requirements with UV installed and operating properly.Why Medium Pressure instead of Low Pressure? In a swimming pool application several factors contribute to the effectiveness of medium pressure lamps over low pressure lamps, namely; medium pressure is more effective since the emission spectra of MP lamps are a better match to the UV spectra of chlorine and chloramines.Will I still have to use Chlorine? The answer is yes. In a swimming pool environment UV systems do not treat all of the water in the pool in one single pass as in other applications. Chlorine is still needed as a disinfectant. However, less is required.What is typical lamp life? Typically the average life of a lamp is around 12,000 hours which equates to one year of continuous or two years for an outdoor facility. However, lamp life will diminish if it is turned off and on frequently.

CPO Class Dates: All classes are 2 days from 8:00 - 5:30

• The CPO® certification program requires participation in a two-day class (14-16 hours) taught by a certified instructor.

• The CPO® certification program includes pool and spa chemistry, testing, treatment, filtration, maintenance, automatic feeding equipment, government requirements.

• The CPO® certification program requires an open book written examination.

• The CPO® certification is valid five years.

The price for the 2 day class is $285. Fee must be received no later than 1 week prior to class date. Late registration is available for an additional $40. PO's are accepted with current account holders but final payment must be recieved before certificates are issued.
